Dutton Loomis Shank Solid 1 x 2 Rounded Port Horse Bit


The swept back loomis cheek is one of the most popular shank bits today. 8" cheek with 3-1/4" purchase. Shank sweeps slightly behind the mouth. Similar in leverage to the cavalry cheek, but the purchase is longer creating more lift. Hangs with great stability and releases slightly lower than the cavalry cheek. A great bit for stability in performance horses.
